                  What are the steps involved in water tank cleaning?

Preparation – Begin by ensuring that the cleaning is performed by trained individuals equipped with the necessary tools. Assess the risks involved in the process. Communicate the importance of water tank cleaning at regular intervals to the users. Understand the current condition of the water tank before starting the work. Our water tank cleaner experts drain the existing water from the water tank and water sump with the help of the pump machine.

Mechanized Dewatering: Use specialized equipment to remove moisture from the tank’s surface and channel it directly into the drainage system.

Sludge removal and scrubbing– After emptying the water tank, our professional starts scrubbing the inside area of the water tank or sump with the help of the machine as well as manually removing the impurities present in the water tank.

High-Pressure Cleaning – In the third process, they use high-pressure water which they sprayed into the water tank, and vacuum dirty water inside the water tank by using a vacuum cleaner.

Brush all internal surfaces:
Use a vacuum pump to eliminate sludge and sedimentation, ensuring the tank is dirt-free. Remove all visible dirt. Sponge surfaces as needed.

Recommissioning and Refilling the Tank:
Neutralize chlorinated water with Sodium Thiosulphate or flush it out entirely with fresh water once the required contact time has passed. Flush the entire system until chlorine-free water comes out from each vent, matching the incoming main. Refill the tank and reinstall support pumps according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Complete a disinfection marker for each tank, updating details on the existing sticker or placing a new one.

UV Radiation-Antibacterial treatment – In the last step, the water tank/sump will be disinfected and sanitized using UV Radiation by a specially developed UV Radiator which is used to kill any suspended or floating bacteria remaining in the tank. The antibacterial treatment makes the tank 100% Bacteria-free and makes it perfectly fit and ready for consuming and storing water for a longer period.
